We find a lot of inspiration in the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi as it lives in interior decoration. In short, wabi-sabi has two sides – the impermanence of life and the beauty in simplicity.  Connecting to this second part, the simplicity of these plants, the uncomplicated colour scheme of green and taupe and the natural feel. It is distinctly opposite to what our daily living is about, the chase for complexity and technology. These cushions remind us of a quieter place, being in the moment, slowing down and seeing the beauty all around.

This design uses blocks from a bigger woven pattern and creates an interesting effect.  The subdued colours in soft beige and greens will work well in a room with subtle hints of red, the complementary colour to green.

Epiphytes or air plants grow on other plants without harming them.  They get their moisture and nutrients from rain or the air and survive without touching the ground. So even their simple existence has symbolic value for us!!

• This is a premium product made of a luxuriously soft fabric and has zippers for easy maintenance.
• The colours will not fade or wash out during ordinary use. We advise washing cycles for poly cotton products.
• Importantly, avoid direct sunlight on these items.
• The cover sizes are 2 covers of 45×45 cm and one cover of 45x70cm.
• The prints are only on one side with a matching colour on the back panel.
• Please note they are sold without inners to make couriering easier.
